- Cucumbers - 300-350 Grams
- Tomatoes - 300-350 Grams
- Sweet pepper - 1 Piece

How to cook "Assorted Pickled Cucumbers and Tomatoes"

Prepare all the ingredients you need. I have a 1.5 liter jar. And I indicated the number of products based on it. However, the amount of food can vary depending on the size of the vegetables.

Rinse the jar. Place a couple of dill sprigs, garlic, peppercorns and bay leaves on the bottom.

Rinse the cucumbers. Cut off the ends. Place the cucumbers in a jar while standing. They should take up about half the jar.

Fill the remaining space of the jar with tomatoes and sweet peppers, peeled from seeds and stalks, and cut into strips. Also add the parsley and leftover garlic to the jar.

Boil water and pour boiling water over a jar of vegetables. Leave for 15-20 minutes. Then drain the water and repeat the procedure.

After the second evaporation, do not pour out the water, but pour it into a saucepan, measure the amount of water. My vegetables in the jar are quite dense, so it turned out to be about 500 ml. water. Add salt, sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil and wait for the sugar and salt to dissolve.

Pour boiling marinade over vegetables in a jar, roll up a metal lid.
