How to cook "Honey cake"
1 Add butter, sugar and honey to the saucepan. Melt the sugar over low heat, stirring constantly. 2 Using a mixer, beat the eggs until fluffy. Add the hot boiled syrup in a thin stream to the beaten eggs, whisking vigorously or with a mixer. 3 Then gradually add sifted flour and soda slaked with vinegar, knead a thick dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands. 4 Divide the dough into 8 even pieces and roll each into a circle about 23 cm in diameter. Remember to dust the table with flour to prevent the dough from sticking. It is best to roll out while the dough is still warm. 5 Using a plate, cut out even circles from the rolled dough. Transfer to parchment and bake at 180 degrees for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Bake the dough scraps, too, and use a rolling pin or blender to crumble them. 6 Whisk the cream with a mixer until crisp peaks. In a separate bowl, whisk the sour cream and powdered sugar together. Combine both masses until smooth. 7 Start collecting the cake. Lubricate each crust with cream. Then grease the sides and top of the cake. Sprinkle everything with scrap crumbs and refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours. 8 Have a nice tea!
