How to cook "Oven baked pork knuckle"
1 Preheat oven to 175 degrees. 2 Chop the onion coarsely. Place the chopped onion on the bottom of the baking dish. 3 Rub each pork knuckle with half a clove of garlic. Chop the remaining garlic and place in a baking dish as well. 4 Rub in about ½ tbsp. tablespoons of salt into the skin of each piece of shank. 5 Place the pork shanks, meaty side down, into the onion dish and gently pour the beer around the dish. 6 Bake the knuckles in the oven for 3 hours. They should be crispy and tender. Do not forget to check every hour, in what condition the meat, whether there is still liquid on the bottom of the mold. If necessary, add hot boiled water to the mold. 7 Remove the knuckles from the oven, let cool slightly and serve. Enjoy your meal!
