  • Wheat flour - 1 Glass
  • Salt - 3 Teaspoons (2.5 - for goulash, 0.5 - for dough)
  • Ground paprika - 5 Teaspoons
  • Ground cumin - 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Bay leaf - 2-3 pieces
  • Vegetable oil - 5 Tbsp. spoons (or lard)
  • Ground black pepper - 0.5 Teaspoons

For goulash, several types of meat are taken, if there are smoked ribs, we add them too. Cut fresh meat into pieces. We clean the vegetables.

Heat oil or fat in a thick-walled saucepan or cauldron and fry finely chopped onions until light golden brown over medium heat.

During the stewing, the water level decreases, the meat becomes soft and juicy. Add chopped carrots and celery or turnips. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Add the chopped potatoes and about 1-1.5 liters of water. Cook for 15 minutes after boiling.
