How to cook "Chakhokhbili"
1 Rinse the chicken and divide into medium-sized pieces. Pat dry with a paper towel. 2 Preheat a skillet and sauté the chicken without adding oil. Better to use a non-stick pan. 3 Peel, wash and chop the onions, garlic and tomatoes. Chop the cilantro finely. 4 When the chicken is browned, transfer it to a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Fry the onions and tomatoes in the pan in which the chicken was fried. 5 When the vegetables are golden brown, add them to the stewpan with the chicken. Season with salt and pepper, add garlic and half chopped cilantro. 6 Place the chakhokhbili to simmer for 30-40 minutes, until the chicken is tender.
