How to cook "Russian roast"

1. Prepare all ingredients. Cut the meat into small pieces, peel the vegetables.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, fry the beef until golden brown with the addition of salt and spices, transfer the meat to a plate. Coarsely chop the onions and carrots and fry in the same pan, add salt to taste at the end. Then, in the same place, fry the potatoes, cut into large cubes, separately, not forgetting to salt in the process. Add sour cream, tomato sauce, any fresh herbs to a glass of water and stir.

3. Now we start filling the pot in this order: put the fried pieces of beef on the bottom.

4. Put half of the fried potatoes on top.
