How to make the "Great Chocolate Pie"
Mix and sift dry ingredients - flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
Whisk the softened butter well with white sugar. Peel off the edges and continue whisking until the whole mixture is fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until smooth. Add each subsequent egg after mixing the previous one.
Add mayonnaise to the mixture and beat again.
Mix dark beer with instant coffee and vanilla extract.
Add flour and beer mixture to the butter mass in parts, alternately, beat with a mixer at low speed until a homogeneous dough is formed.
Finally, add the chopped chocolate to the dough and stir with a spatula.
Put the dough in three identical, prepared forms with a diameter of 18-20 cm and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes - until a dry toothpick. Do not overdry!
Put the finished cakes on a wire rack and cool completely.
For cream, beat softened butter with vanilla extract, gradually adding cocoa powder, icing sugar and a little milk until a fluffy cream is formed. I took half a portion of the cream - it was enough for a cake with a diameter of 18 cm.
Lubricate the cakes with cream and lay on top of each other. Cover the top and sides of the cake with cream and let it sit in the refrigerator for a while to set.
Decorate the cake with fresh berries and mint leaves.
Enjoy your tea!
