How to cook "Chicken" Alla kachchatore "
Wash the chicken, pat it dry and place it in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Pour in olive oil and fry until light golden brown. You can use regular sunflower oil.
Peel, wash and chop the onions. Place in a skillet, add a little oil and fry until transparent.
Add the fried onions to the pot with the chicken.
Peel the tomatoes, chop in any way and add to the saucepan. Place the bay leaf.
Pour dry wine, add salt, pepper, sugar, dry basil and oregano. And also 200 ml of water.
Place the lid on the pot and simmer the chicken with spices, wine and tomatoes until tender. Then add chopped bacon or ham.
Peel the champignons, cut and place in a saucepan.
Cook the chicken for another 7-8 minutes. Add chopped garlic at the end.
