How to cook "Rook Open Pies"
Prepare all the ingredients you need.
Mix two tablespoons of flour with yeast and sugar. Combine the dry mixture with warm milk, stir and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes. Then add kefir, butter and flour sifted with baking powder. Form the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place to rise.
Divide the dough into portions according to the desired size of the patties and form into balls.
Roll each ball into an oval and cut 2 strips of dough horizontally around the edges.
Twist the dough strips together on both sides.
Line the braids over the edges of the oval.
Pinch the edges and shape the rooks.
Grate cheese, add finely chopped sausage and raw egg. Stir and place the filling in the middle of the blanks. Cover the patties with a towel and place in a warm place to lift.
