  • Garlic - 4 Cloves
  • Celery (stems) - 2 Pieces
  • Cabbage - 1/2 Piece
  • Potatoes - 2 Pieces
  • Carrots - 1-2 Pieces
  • Beets - 3-4 Pieces
  • Chicken fillet - 2 Pieces
  • Vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Ground black pepper - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - To taste
  • Dill - 1 Bunch
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp spoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 Tbsp. the spoon

How to cook "Borscht with chicken"

1 First, prepare all the food you need. Peel onions, garlic, carrots, potatoes. Rinse the chicken breast. 2 Chop the onion and celery into half rings, finely chop the garlic. Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. 3 Cut the potatoes into thin strips. Cut the beets in the same way. Optionally, the beets can be grated. 4 Put the pan on the fire and pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil into it. When the oil is warmed up, pour the onion into a saucepan and simmer for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Next, add garlic and celery to the onion, mix well and simmer for about 2 minutes. 5 Put the cabbage, potatoes and carrots there, mix everything thoroughly, adding salt and pepper. Pour vegetables with chicken broth, cover and cook for 35-40 minutes over low heat. 6 Meanwhile, salt and pepper the chicken breasts and fry them in vegetable oil. Then add a little water and simmer until tender. As soon as the chicken is cooked, cut it into small pieces and add to the borscht. 7 When the vegetables are cooked, add lemon juice, a little apple cider vinegar and chopped dill to the borscht. Mix everything, if necessary, add salt. 8 Before serving, decorate with sour cream and fresh herbs. Enjoy your meal!
