How to make "Onion Bread from Batter"
Prepare the required ingredients. You will need one medium onion to make this bread.
Heat the water to a warm state (30-35 degrees), dissolve yeast and sugar in it.
Add salt and sifted rye flour to the liquid, mix.
Pour wheat flour into the resulting mass, while sifting it and stirring the dough with a spoon or spatula.
Cut the onions into small pieces of any shape, add to the dough and pour in the sunflower oil, mix well again.
The dough should be slightly thicker than for the pancakes. Place it in a greased, thick-walled mold.
Place the baking dish in an unheated oven, set the temperature to 170-180 degrees and bake the onion bread for 55-65 minutes until golden brown.
Leave the finished bread in the turned off oven for 10-15 minutes, and then let cool slightly at room temperature. Then you can enjoy freshly baked onion bread!
