This cake is very easy to prepare and quite simple, but it turns out delicious and aromatic. The amount of caramel can be increased to your liking, and if the apples are cut into smaller slices, then they can additionally not be stewed in a pan. - Wheat flour - 200 grams
- Butter - 140 grams (100 - for dough, 40 - for caramel)
- Sugar - 130 Grams (30 - for dough, 100 - for caramel)
- Eggs - 1 Piece
- Sour cream - 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Apples - 5 Pieces (large)
- Water - 50 Milliliters
- Cinnamon - 0.5 Teaspoons (optional)
- Vanilla Sugar - 0.5 Teaspoons
- Lemon juice - 1-2 Tbsp. spoons
How to make Caramel Apple Pie
Preparing the pie dough. Grind flour with butter, add regular and vanilla sugar, egg and sour cream. Knead the dough, wrap it in a bag and send it to the refrigerator.
We clean the apples. Better to take apples of hard varieties.
Cut the apples into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Pour water into the pan, add sugar and bring the mixture to transparency. You can't stir with a spoon !!! To stir, move the pan back and forth.
When the sugar is completely dissolved, add the butter, mix and cook the caramel for 2-3 minutes.
Add apples, stir and simmer for 10 minutes. Add cinnamon and stir.
Grease a cake pan with a diameter of 24 cm and spread the apples in caramel.
Put the dough rolled into a layer on top of the apples, trying to bend it along the edge of the mold to the bottom.
We bake the cake for 30-35 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Then, with a knife, detach the edges of the cake from the mold and throw the cake onto a flat dish.
It will be delicious if you serve hot pie with a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy your tea!
