  • Flour - 2 Glasses
  • Cornmeal - 1 Glass
  • Salt - 1 Teaspoon
  • Milk - 0.5 cups
  • Water - 3/4 Cup
  • Honey - 1 Teaspoon
  • Dry Fast Acting Yeast - 3 Teaspoons
  • Chicken egg - 1 Piece
  • Sugar - 0.5 cups
  • Ground coriander - 2 Teaspoons
  • Vegetable oil - To taste

How to make Corn Donuts

1 Combine wheat and corn flour in a deep bowl and add salt. 2 Heat milk and water slightly, add honey to them and stir. Add dry yeast and leave for 5 minutes. 3 After 5 minutes, stir until the yeast is completely dissolved. 4 Make a well in the flour bowl and pour the milk mixture into it. Beat the egg separately and add to the flour as well. Stir the mixture until smooth. 5 Place the dough on a previously oiled surface and knead for 5-8 minutes until a smooth dough is obtained. 6 Place the dough back in the bowl and let rise for 45-60 minutes. 7 Spread the donut powder. To do this, combine sugar and ground coriander. 8 Place the dough on a surface and roll out. Take two round shapes and cut out the donuts, one larger for the outer edges and one smaller for the core (you can use a cup and shot glass). 9 Take a saucepan, fill it ¾ with vegetable oil and heat it up well. Fry the donuts for 1-1.5 minutes until golden brown. 10 Sprinkle the finished donuts with a mixture of sugar and coriander and serve immediately. Enjoy your tea!
