- Coconut flakes - 60 Grams
- Wheat flour - 3/4 Cup
- Eggs - 1 Piece
- Butter - 50 grams
- Sugar - 2 Tbsp. spoons
- Salt - 1 Pinch
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon (no slide)
How to make Belgian Coconut Cookies
These are all the ingredients we need. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance, let it soften.
Grind butter and sugar into a homogeneous mass.
Add an egg and a pinch of salt, beat with a mixer until smooth. I managed with a spoon.
We introduce flour mixed with baking powder.
Also add the coconut flakes, leaving about a sixth.
The dough should be soft and sticky. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Divide the cooled dough into 14-15 parts and roll each part into a ball. Roll in the remaining coconut flakes.
We spread it on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
We bake in an oven preheated to 160 degrees with a fan for 15-18 minutes. Cookies should be lightly browned, do not overdo them in the oven.
