Prepare the required ingredients. Wash the pears. Sterilize two 1.5 liter jars and lids.
Boil the syrup with water and sugar. Place 1/2 cinnamon stick in the bottom of each jar. Place the pears up to the shoulders of the jar. Pour in hot syrup.
