Wash chicken drumsticks, put in a deep plate or bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Peel one large or two small onions, wash and cut into rings or half rings. Spread over potatoes in a mold.
Place the chicken drumsticks on the onion. Pour 50-60 ml of water or broth into the mold. Cover the dish with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 185-190 degrees.
Bake the chicken and potatoes in the oven for 25 minutes under the foil. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 20 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven. Sprinkle with grated cheese and add tomato slices.
