- White cabbage - 5 Kilograms
- Carrots - 1 Kilogram
- Salt - 100 Grams
How to make Cabbage Sourdough
Rinse the cabbage and chop finely. Cut the peeled carrots into strips.
Now you need to start up the cabbage juice. Grind 4 handfuls of cabbage with a little salt. Then add some carrots and tamp the vegetables.
Add portions of cabbage, carrots and salt alternately. Squeeze juice constantly.
Press down firmly on the vegetables with your hands. Place oppression with a plate on top. Leave a wooden spoon or rolling pin on the side.
Leave the cabbage to ferment like this for 3 days. Stir the vegetables every day.
When the brine brightens, the cabbage is ready! Transfer it to a clean jar with brine. Keep the snack in the refrigerator. Enjoy your meal!
