How to make "Caramel Nectarine Jam"
Cut the nectarines into cubes and measure 2 kg.
Cover the nectarines with sugar and leave for a few hours for the fruit to juice.
Bring the fruit mass to a boil. Remove from heat and cool until warm.
Strain the nectarine syrup. Squeeze the juice from half of the lemon, cut the other half. Put everything in syrup and simmer over low heat for an hour. During this time, the syrup will thicken. Place the nectarines back into the syrup and bring to a boil. Do not forget to remove the foam during cooking.
Put the finished jam in sterilized jars and close the lids.
Turn the cans over and wrap them in a blanket. Store the cooled jam jars in a cool place.
