- Red gooseberry - 500 Grams

How to make Red Gooseberry Compote
Sort out the gooseberries, cut off the stalks and sepals. Dip into water, remove small debris, discard in a colander.
Put the berries in a sterilized jar, filling it 1/3 full, add sugar, fill with water.
Place in a container with warm water, the water should reach the "shoulders" of the jar. Cover with a lid. Bring the water to a boil, sterilize the jar of compote for 15 minutes.
Roll up the lid, cool. Store in a cool and dark place.
