How to cook "Pita Pie"

Prepare all ingredients.

Fry onions and carrots until soft. Add shredded cabbage and simmer until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with salt, baking soda and kefir.

Cut the pita bread into squares with kitchen scissors, and add the pita bread to the kefir mixture. Stir and fish out enough pieces to cover the bottom of the baking dish completely.

Add the stewed cabbage to the pita bread and stir until evenly distributed. It is convenient to do this not with a spoon, but with your hands.

Grease the bottom of the mold with butter and lay out the pieces of lavash that were previously soaked in kefir, laying them close to each other. Then put the rest of the mass into the mold and cover it on the sides with the pieces of pita bread with which we covered the mold. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Be guided by appearance. If the top starts to burn, cover with foil.

The top of the finished pita bread can be greased with a piece of butter. The lavash pie is ready.

Enjoy your meal!
