- White beans - 250 Grams
- Garlic - 2 Cloves
- White onion - 2 Pieces
- Beef - 500 Grams
- White wine - 100 Milliliters
- Mashed tomatoes - 500 Grams
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Ground pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Peppercorns - 5 Pieces
- Rosemary sprigs - 2 Pieces
- Thyme sprigs - 2 Pieces
- Olive oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons

How to make White Bean Stew with Beef and Herbs

Soak white beans in cold water for at least eight hours, or better overnight. Then drain the water and fill the beans with fresh. Add peppercorns and sprigs of rosemary and thyme. Cook the beans until tender.

Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or saucepan, sauté vegetables on it. Then wash the piece of beef, trim and cut into cubes. Fry the meat and vegetables for ten minutes.

Pour in the wine, evaporate it for five minutes. Then add the grated tomatoes, a sprig of rosemary, salt and pepper to taste, simmer the dish over low heat for forty-five minutes.

Drain the beans and send them to the rest of the ingredients. Mix everything thoroughly and simmer the stew for another twenty minutes until fully cooked.
