If you ask in any locality of Georgia which salad is the most popular, then many will probably say that this is a salad of cucumbers and tomatoes, this is the most traditional of Georgian salads. It is prepared very simply, and the obligatory components are tomatoes and nuts, the rest is at your discretion.

Ingredients:
- Tomatoes - 2 Pieces (large)
- Hot pepper - 2 Pieces (fresh)
- Walnuts - 200 grams (peeled)
- Garlic - 4 Cloves
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Fresh parsley - 1/2 Bunch
- Wine vinegar - 4 tbsp. spoons (or to taste)
- Imeretian saffron - 1 teaspoon (ground)
- Ground paprika - 2 Teaspoons
- Fenugreek blue - 1 teaspoon (ground)
- Coriander - 1 Teaspoon (ground)
- Salt - To taste

How to cook "Georgian salad classic"

Prepare all the food you need.

First, prepare the nut sauce: chop the walnuts and garlic with a meat grinder or blender.

Add all dry spices and salt to this mixture to taste.

Stir and add wine vinegar.

While continuing to stir, slowly add 70 ml of boiled, chilled water. The mixture should look like the picture.

Chop the peeled and washed onions. Rub with your hands and mix the onion and salt.

Rinse the onions in cold water.

Squeeze thoroughly until it is almost dry. This removes the strong onion odor.

Chop tomatoes, hot peppers and arrange nicely in a salad bowl. If desired, you can add fresh, thinly sliced cucumbers to this salad. Top with prepared onions and peanut sauce. Serve the salad chilled, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
