How to cook "Jalebi"

Mix half a packet of oatmeal with 1.5 liters of water. We leave the mass overnight, and in the morning we filter it through a sieve. In parallel, mix semolina with flour, vegetable oil and salt. Add the mass obtained from oatmeal with water, beat.

Let's make the saffron syrup. Fill the saffron with hot water, let it brew for a while. Strain through a sieve and add lemon juice and brown sugar. Stir.

You will need a pastry syringe or similar device. You can cut a small hole in the plastic bag.

We put the dough into a syringe and squeeze it with a spiral into a preheated frying pan with oil.

Fry until golden brown on both sides.

Transfer the jalebi to a paper towel to drain the fat. Dip sweets in saffron syrup and serve. Enjoy your meal!
