You will need regular bread, some mushrooms and cheese, and, of course, poppy seeds.

- Hard cheese - 150 Grams

How to cook "Italian Provolone bread"

Prepare all the ingredients you need. For Italian Provolone bread, you can use any loaf of bread. I have white, but you can take both rye and bran.

Cut the mushrooms into small pieces of any size, fry them in a little vegetable oil until tender.

Cut the bread up and down, as shown in the photo, but do not cut it to the end.

Place mushrooms in the cuts. Try to distribute them as evenly as possible.

Put grated cheese on top of the mushrooms, try to put it in the cuts.

Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave, add finely chopped onion and poppy seeds. Mix well.

Pour the resulting mixture on top of the bread. The butter will saturate the bread inside and out and make it soft and juicy.

Wrap the bread in foil, bake it for 15 minutes, then unfold the foil and keep the bread in the oven for a couple of minutes. The Italian snack bread is ready! Enjoy your meal!
