In addition to rice and potatoes, they include fried mushrooms with onions. This recipe is almost vegetarian. There is not a single gram of meat and animal fat in it. But at the same time, the cutlets turn out to be hearty and will become a wonderful decoration for a family dinner.

How to cook "Potato cutlets with rice"

1. Before cooking potato cutlets with rice, peel potatoes, cut into cubes. Cook it in lightly salted water. Crush the potatoes. Simultaneously boil the rice until tender.

2. Wash and finely chop the mushrooms. Peel the onion. Cut it into small pieces. Put mushrooms and onions in a skillet with heated vegetable oil. After the moisture has completely evaporated, turn off and cool the workpiece.

3. Combine cooled potatoes and rice. Add paprika. Add pepper and salt depending on your taste. Mix thoroughly.

4. Pour a thick layer of breadcrumbs onto a cutting board. Place a layer of potatoes and rice on top of them. Make a tortilla. Place the fried mushrooms and onions in the top center.

5. Form a patty with mushrooms and onions. Roll it in breadcrumbs.

6. Preheat the frying pan. Pour vegetable oil on it. After warming it up, lay out the cutlets. Fry them on both sides in turn to brown the barrel.

7. After 5 minutes, the patties are ready. Serve warm. The dish is complemented by vegetables and herbs. Enjoy your meal!
