Boil water in a saucepan.
Prepare the jam. Better to take seedless jam. For example, it is better to grind gooseberry or strawberry jam on a sieve to remove the seeds.
Add jam to boiling water. Stir and let it boil.
In a container, mix 2 tbsp. tablespoons of starch with 3-4 tbsp. spoons of cold water. Stir so that the mass is homogeneous. Add it to the boiling compote.
Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Pour the jelly into cups and serve.
