Cooking description:
To prepare kutya, boil and rinse the rice. Soak the poppy seeds in hot water, then grind with sugar in a mortar. Steam the raisins as well. Combine rice, poppy seeds, raisins, and shelled walnuts. Add lemon juice and juice from half an orange and honey and mix well. Garnish with orange wedges with kiwi slices when serving. Enjoy your meal!

How to cook "Kutia with oranges"

Boil the rice until tender, then discard in a colander and rinse with water.

Soak poppy seeds and raisins in hot water for 15-20 minutes. Peel the nuts.

Drain the water from the poppy and grind it in a mortar until a white liquid forms, then add a little boiled water, sugar and grind again.

Combine rice, poppy seeds, raisins and walnuts.

Add lemon juice and juice from half an orange and honey and mix well. Garnish with orange wedges with kiwi slices when serving.
