I love grilled eggplants with bacon - this is the most delicious kebab in the world (not counting, of course, lamb kebab) that I have ever tasted lately. As I said above, the look of the eggplant is rather miserable - it shrinks and darkens all over, but the taste is excellent, it compensates for all the external shortcomings of the kebab. Try it and you will definitely be satisfied.

We wash and dry the eggplants thoroughly.

In turn, string on a skewer: eggplant, bacon, eggplant, bacon.
Cook the eggplants on medium or low charcoal (this is important) for 30 minutes.
