How to cook "Solyanka on ribs"

Well, let's get down to cooking. And the first thing we have to do is, of course, put a saucepan with water and smoked pork ribs on low heat and leave it for 1 hour.

While the ribs are boiling, we have time to do other vegetables. The potatoes need to be washed, peeled and diced. Wait for the broth to boil and feel free to send potatoes to the pan.

Now, His Majesty is the onion, it also needs to be peeled and finely chopped. By the way, onions in a hodgepodge are very good and cut into half rings. So the choice is yours.

After you have decided how to chop the onion and even chopped it, you need to heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the onion in it until golden brown. Fry over low heat, stirring constantly, otherwise you will get coals instead of onions. Fried onions should also go to the pan with meat and potatoes.

And now we proceed to my favorite part, namely, all those smoked meats that you prepared for the hodgepodge need to be finely chopped into cubes and fried in a pan.

After about 10-15 minutes, add tomato paste to the ham and sausage and fry for another 5 minutes and also send it to the broth.

The next in line are pickles, cut them either into cubes or into strips and send them to all other products in the pan.

We take a jar of olives, divide them into 2 parts. We cut 1 part into rings, and the second for now we remove to the side. Add a little olive brine to the broth. 3-4 minutes before complete readiness, add the remaining olives, bay leaf, as well as pepper and salt to the hodgepodge. Here's a recipe for making a hodgepodge on ribs we got.
