Cooking description:
Many people underestimate honey mushrooms and prefer more noble mushrooms to them, but personally I adore them and, as soon as the season begins, I roll mushrooms like crazy, because in winter the mushrooms disperse instantly. The recipe I use is old and tried and I will gladly share it with you and tell you how to make mushrooms pickled in jars. Here I have selected the perfect combination of spices, in my opinion, but of course you can add or remove something, because this is a matter of taste. Otherwise, the mushrooms are just super-duper, very strong and with an amazing aroma. So we go to the forest or to the market for the harvest and harvest mushrooms pickled in jars at home in order to enjoy their excellent taste in winter.

How to cook "Honey mushrooms marinated in jars"

First of all, of course, we need to carefully sort out the mushrooms and rinse them thoroughly.

Now we put the mushrooms in a saucepan, add about 1-2 glasses of water and cook honey mushrooms for a long time, about 1-1.5 hours.

Then we put the mushrooms in a colander and rinse thoroughly several times. We leave them so that the water flows down, and we ourselves will take care of the marinade. Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, add garlic and all the spices, put the marinade on the fire and bring the liquid to a boil. Put the mushrooms in a boiling marinade and cook them for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and add the vinegar essence to the pan.

We put honey mushrooms in sterilized jars, fill with marinade and roll up the jars.

We turn the jars upside down, cover with something warm and leave in this position until they cool completely, then transfer the jars to a cool, dark place for storage.
