Cooking description:
These meatballs can be found in cafes and restaurants throughout the Mediterranean, but their true homeland is Greece, or rather Cyprus. They are called keftedes and are made from minced meat with the addition of vegetables, fruits, cheese, crackers, etc. This recipe for cooking meatballs in Greek, using apple and mint, is, in my opinion, one of the best: the taste of keftedes is very delicate, and they themselves are juicy and aromatic.
There are also many ways to prepare keftedes - they are served simply fried in oil, stewed or baked with a sauce, mainly tomato. It turns out tasty in any case, so choose your option - more dietary or, on the contrary, high-calorie. Bon Appetit!
