- Apricots - 2-2.5 Kilograms
- Lemon Juice - 0.5 Cups
- Sugar - 8 Glasses
- Pectin - 50 Grams
- Butter - 1 Tbsp. a spoon
How to make "Apricot Jam"
Prepare apricots. Wash them and select a bone. Fold in a blender.
Chop the apricots.
Prepare sugar. Measure 8 cups right away so that it doesn't come out less or more.
Place the mass of apricots in a saucepan. Add pectin and butter. Pour lemon juice into a saucepan. Get in the way. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. If it burns, turn it off altogether. Sweat for another five minutes.
Add sugar. All at once. Stir it well. Make sure it dissolves all over.
Bring to a boil again and simmer for 4 hours. Make sure that the jam does not burn.
Pour hot apricot jam into sterilized jars and roll up.
You can wrap them upside down in a blanket. Or maybe use such a water bath for jam. It will cool down with the water and can be folded with your rest of the workpieces. After one or two days, the jar can be opened:) Bon appetit!
